As the Talent Sourcing Manager for LearningMate, I'm currently seeking U.S.-based freelance professionals to staff textbook/e-learning projects.

I work within the Editorial Services division of LearningMate, a company that prepares ancillary support materials for university textbooks on behalf of every Higher Ed publisher in the U.S.

I source and hire for a number of roles with higher education: subject matter experts, assessment writers (who can write multiple choice questions), curriculum writers, course writers, instructional designers, copyeditors/proofreaders, developmental editors, project managers, and more.

Description:
Urgent need for experienced science writers with expertise in high school level Physics, including laboratory activities. Teaching experience a plus. Candidate should have experience writing for an educational publisher and working with standards (TEKS).

Assignment: 9 new labs, 5 major revised labs, 17 minor revised labs
Writers will be responsible for writing any brand new labs and revising any labs that need major or minor revisions. New labs will be written with Word templates. Revisions will be done with PDF mark-up in Adobe Acrobat Standard or Pro (required). Writers will be responsible for supplying all necessary metadata.
